Roger Sharpe is a licensing consultant for Stern, as well as Licensing Manager for Williams. Perhaps most well-known for his role in helping to legalize pinball in New York as well as other cities, he is also the author of the book Pinball!, one of the first pinball books, as well as working as a game designer at Gameplan and Williams before transitioning into a licensing.

In the late 1970's, Roger co-founded PAPA with Steve Epstein in New York, NY, USA at the Broadway Arcade. After "passing the reigns" of PAPA to Kevin Martin, Sharpe and Epstein went on to found IFPA, an umbrella organization for pinball competitions.[1]

Roger was inducted into the Pinball Expo Hall of Fame on October 21, 2000. He was interviewed on TOPcast #17, March 18, 2007. His two sons, Josh and Zach, are very active in the pinball community.
