Pinball News is a UK-based website covering events in pinball across the world.

It's slogan is "First and Free" which relates to the speed with which it brings news about pinball to its readership, its history of breaking news about important changes to the industry and the way it is free; in cost, in having no advertising and in having no sponsors or other vested interests to colour its reporting freedom.

Pinball News was created by Editor Martin Ayub in early 2000 to provide a number of services which were lacking or not available at the time. Chief amongst those were having a source of comprehensive game reviews, a list of common abbreviations used in pinball, a detailed diary of pinball events worldwide and a way to see how other countries promoted pinball through their national and regional shows.

It is a philosophy of Pinball News not to replicate the good work already being done elsewhere, but rather to support and link to those resources. Another key tenet is to always keep all the articles available through the website, so readers can research when shows were held, which games were present, who won the tournaments and then see the show for themselves.

Founded with text and pictures, Pinball News now features video tours of assorted shows and audio recordings including dozens of seminars by pinball industry figures, which visitors can either stream or download free of charge.

Pinball News also operates a mailing list called the Pinball News Update Scheme. This free service sends out a regular e-mail detailing the most recent changes to the website, new features about to be introduced, upcoming Pinball News-run events and the latest news from the Pinball news office.

In 2008 Pinball News introduced a RSS feed of its latest articles. This provides individuals and companion websites with an up-to-date display of the newest additions and it has become a very popular feature on many other pinball websites.
