Lyman Sheats is a pinball software designer and skilled pinball player. He has written the software for numerous games, starting in 1993 at Data East, moving to Williams in 1995, and as of 2003, Stern. After the closure of Williams' pinball division and prior to joining Stern, Lyman worked on home game console development at Midway.
He has played competitively, placing second at PAPA 8 and first at PAPA 9. He has recently requested to be excluded from the World Pinball Player Rankings for unknown reasons.
