Bang back

A bang back is a method for saving a ball after it has gone down the outlanes. As the ball is rolling down the front of the apron toward the center drain, the near flipper is held and the cabinet or lockdown bar is then forcefully bumped to knock the ball back up into play on the opposite flipper.
